Also included are charts of the known values of the crafted patterns.

If you would like to contribute to the values charts, go to Sarcan's Secret World Data Gathering on Google Docs and enter your known values and I will bring them over to the Wiki.

Glyph

Glyphs are made with Runes (See lists below) placed in the following patterns and a Glyph Kit. You cannot mix Defensive Runes and Offensive Runes, however you can use multiple offense or defense to combine stats. The number of each type of Rune will determine the amount added for the given stat. The Rune or Combination of Runes determines the name of the Glyph (See the Prefix Charts below).

4x = Substantial Increase
3x + 1x = Major + Minor Increase
2x + 2x = Moderate + Moderate Increase

NOTE on Values:

  • Crafted Glyphs and Drop Glyphs of the same QL will provide the same values.
  • Weapon and Head Slot have the same value, with Major having a little less value for each stat than the Head and Weapon and then the Minor a little less value than that of the Major Slot.
  • QL of the item has no relevance to the value the Glyph provides to the item, only the QL of the Glyph and the Slot of the item it is attached.
  • 3x 1 x Glyph Values may and often do vary a couple of points depending on the Promary Rune used in construction.
  • Values will be added to the charts below time permitting for quick reference.

Offensive Runes

  • Denkyem - Critical Power Rating
  • Lu - Critical Rating
  • Trinity - Penetration Rating
  • Wheel - Hit Rating

Offensive Glyph Values are a Green Glyph unless specified

Defensive Runes

  • Earth - Block Rating
  • Koru - Physical Protection Rating
  • Pentagram - Magical Protection Rating
  • Wedjat - Defense Rating
  • Yggdrasil - Evade Rating

Defensive Glyph Values are a Green Glyph unless specified

Glyphs by QL

Glyphs by QL are charts that allow you to view the stats for Glyphs of a Specific QL.

To read the chart, you would look at the slot you want the value of and then cross reference the number of Each Rune used. For Example if you had a Major Crit Minor Hit Glyph, you would take the value from the Major Crit and the value from the Minor Hit blocks for the item you wish to attach it to and you will have your two values.

NOTE: I am filling these charts out as I gather the data or receive submissions. I will not post data into the tables without authorization. So if you have your own charts and would like to submit the data for inclusion, please let me know.

Applying a Glyph

To apply a Glyph to an item, you will place the Glyph and the Item you wish to attach it to in the Crafting window and hit assemble. Note that item must have a Glyph Slot on the item or it will not accept the Glyph. You can tell an item has a Glyph slot by either an empty Glyph Box or a Line across the Item Description with stats above and below, which indicates a Glyph has already been applied. You can overwrite Glyph stats with a new Glyph by placing the Item and a new Glyph in the Crafting Window and hitting Assemble. You can't remove a Glyph from an item or recover any materials from an item for a Glyph slot.

Fireworks

Fireworks are made by combining an Element (Dust, Fire or Water) with Metal and a Firework Toolkit (Purchased for 10k from the Explosive Specialist in each Factions Head Quarters Area) in the following pattern. Unlike any other pattern, the Element and the Metal can be ANY quality, mix and match. IE You can combine a Base Fire with Pure Metal and you will get the same results as combining Base Fire and Base Metal.

  • Dust = Green Fireworks
  • Fire = Red Fireworks
  • Water = Blue Fireworks

Signets

Signets are drop only Glyphs that get you can attach to Talismans and Weapons that have a Signet Slot. Signets can be upgrade by combining 10 of the same type in your crafting window. (Verified 10 Green Signets to produce a Blue Signet)

In the table you will see three values such as 1/2/3 based on grade, 1 = Green, 2 = Blue (Upgraded Green or Blue Drop), 3 = Purple (Upgraded Blue or Purple Drop).

The below list is the type of Signets that have been found (Will update as more are found).
